 PETS Guestbook
Manuel Cardona is a real Canario. He is eager to make his guests love his island by giving them special tips.
With us stressed people become happy guests
About 25 years ago, the canarian Manuel Cardona started dreaming of a holiday oasis that would refresh spirit and soul. In that times individual holidays with soul were kind of rare. It seemed to be an audacious idea to create an inspired place of quietness and contemplation, an incomparable powerful place where people with high responsibility could relax their souls.
The following years he was living this vision. Then he created it with his own hands. He made Cho Manuel Residence become reality out of a world of ideas. His entire life, his imagination, his dreams and ideas are present in this place. He designed each of the seven different homes on the large plot. The homes are knowingly constructed in the way, that as well spirit and soul will find shelter.
Mr. Cardona personally knows every guest and loves to be helpful with his private tips of favourite places and good food. If you want to get to know the unacquainted Gran Canaria, please apply trustfully to the owner of Cho Manuel Residence.
Important Advice
Mr. Cardona and his right-hand woman Mrs. Laatsch know all their guests personally and love to give insidertips of "his Gran Canaria". You will be surprised.
Massage, thalassotherapy, slimming cure, tennis, golf, surfing, diving, mountainbiking, mini-golf, go-kart, riding, hiking, parashuting, windsurfing, waterskiing, deep-sea-fishing, etc. There can be found quite a lot of good restaurants in the area, all known and recommended by Manuel for their exellent facilities.

In the village EL TABLERO there are all kind of shops, various large and small supermarkets, a butcher's shop (you can buy instant meals there), a fruit-store, a fish-shop with fresh fish and two pharmacies.

The locals, very friendly people, are mainly employed in the tourism industry. There are good bars, restaurants and shops. In SAN FERNANDO there are big and small supermarkets, butcher shops, fruit-stores, fish-shops with fresh fish, pharmacies, shopping center, etc.
VECINDARIO, the extremely long stretched village is situated 15 km from Cho Manuel Residence. The inhabitants, friendly people, are mainly occupied in the tourism industry. Meeting-points in this village are the snug bars (you can eat tapas) and the charming restaurants in the Avenida de Canarias (4 km long).

In the village VECINDARIO you can find various large and small supermarkets, butcher shops, fruit-stores, fish-shops with fresh fish, pharmacies, large shopping centers, cinemas, many clothes shops, etc.
ARGUINEGUIN is situated 11 km west from Cho Manuel Residence, an expanding town and fishing place with harbour and boardwalk.
Arguineguín is a small town located at the end of the motorway, which was, until fairly recently, little more than a fishing village. Still a working port, Arguineguín has developed into more of a tourist resort with the usual modern hotel complexes. Yet, this little town has managed to preserve its original pleasant core with several good fish restaurants and some lively fishermen’s bars at the harbour, making a visit well worthwhile.
Here, the busiest day in the week is Tuesday, when Arguineguín hosts the largest market on the island.
