Salobre Golf & Resort Par 71
18-hole course, located about 6 km (10 minutes by car) from Cho Manuel Residence
Recently inaugurated, this is one of the newest golf courses of the island of Gran Canaria. It is situated in a typical landscape of the southern part of the island with ravines, volcanic earth, views of mountains and the sea. The lush scenery and green gardens are in contrast with the desert surroundings. Dave Thomas and Roland Fauré designed this interesting and demanding course, on which you have to use all your skills if you want to be successfull. The natural features of the landscape have played an important part. Echoing with the common characteristic of the Gran Canarian countryside, more than 600 species of plants and trees have been established to give beauty to Salobre. Currently it has a par 71, 18-hole course occupying a six-kilometre area and a second course is under construction. Its facilities include a golf school, practise area, driving-range, putting green, club hire, pro-shop, valet parking and restaurant with terrace.
